Part of ÂNIMA — The Shape of the Unseen, the Axis Blazer explores structure as a point of balance between presence, material and form.
Cut in hemp with a relaxed boyfriend silhouette, the blazer combines architectural tailoring with a sense of ease. A chocolate-toned viscose lining contrasts with the dark charcoal exterior, while natural leather finishes the welt pockets and covers the single front button.
Above the pockets, hand embroidery in twisted metallic bugle beads creates an irregular, tactile surface. Shades of antique gold, gold, copper and aged silver merge across the embroidery, introducing light and movement against the matte texture of the hemp.
The contrast between the natural weave of the fabric, the density of leather and the metallic gesture of hand embroidery reflects a recurring tension within ÂNIMA — between structure and movement, surface and depth, the visible and what lies beneath.
Axis refers to a central line — a point of balance and support around which body and garment take form.
